my mother

yesterday i had 2 messages on my machine from my wacky mother.

she was telling a story about the daughter, best beloved, with long auburn hair needing to call the mother with short multicolored hair and the moving of the brother who lives by the banks of the opeeloompa (or some such) river that is actually the chesapeake and all sorts of weird things. like a rudyard kipling story. i got the gist. and see what i live with? and you know where i get it.

Do you not remember _The Elephant's Child", Oh Best Beloved, it is one of Kiplings Just So stories. And it's by the shores of the great, grey, greasy Limpopo. One my fav illiterations. If you haven't read them as an adult(a generalization that possibly is questionable in this family as all the female are perpetually 18ish) you must go to the library immediately and get the unabridged version.

I have no idea where you get it. The rest of your family seems relatively sane, but how would I know?
